Platinum sponsors as well as enthusiastic participants, this year the Morris Law Group was represented in the 5K classic race by three teams comprised of 14 runners and in the ‘Walk a Mile in My Shoes’ 1K walk by two walkers.
Special congratulations to members of Team Morris #2 who finished a very close 2nd in this year’s 5K run. Team members include Simon Gencher, Daniel Roncari, David Morris and Kathy Gaudun, who has recently been appointed to the Board of Directors for the HBIA.
This year, 50,000 Canadians will sustain brain injuries. Traumatic brain injury is the number one killer and cause of disability in Canadians under the age of 40. The Hamilton Brain Injury Association is a “non-profit organization, and is dedicated to providing support, education and advocacy to individuals who have sustained a brain injury and their families.” All proceeds raised will go towards running the HBIA’s survivor and spousal support groups.
